This Is One Big Reason Why Your Erections Are Fading

While checking out my inbox this morning, I came across a message from Eli who asks if indulging in his favorite brew daily can lead to erectile problems. He shares that he has the habit of downing a couple of beers after a long day at work to unwind.

Although there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself with a refreshing alcoholic beverage to chill out, overdoing the whole thing can easily lead to weakened erections in the long run. Let me explain what I mean…

As I pointed out in an earlier post, loading up on moderate amounts of alcohol actually has a key benefit in terms of achieving strong and lasting erections.

Besides helping ease anxiety that can prevent the release of positive hormones, which play a crucial role in setting off the sexual arousal process, it also supports ideal heart rhythm that keeps the body’s overall blood circulation up to par.

The quicker it is for blood to reach the erectile tissues in the penis to firm it up when you get sexually aroused, the easier it will be for you to get rock hard and stay that way until you’ve really knocked her socks off during lovemaking.

But the thing is I’ve learned during my extensive research into the male sexuality that some components of alcohol get converted into toxins when it is absorbed by the body. These toxins are basically the culprits that trigger nausea, headaches and other nasty things you go through when you’re having a hangover.

Now while the liver has the ability to break down and get rid of these toxins, its efficiency in eliminating them significantly dips when their numbers are just too many. These toxins end up accumulating inside your body and start disrupting the functions of organs, including those that are needed to get an intense erection going.

And when this happens, you’re either going to have a weak erection that’s going to fizzle out sooner than you’d like to when you’re getting busy in bed or perhaps not get hard at all.

I’m not saying that you should totally keep clear of your favorite brews to keep rising up to the occasion, though. According to my research, the ideal amount of alcohol that a guy should consume daily without putting himself at risk to erectile issues is no more than two drinks.

While we’re on the subject, keep in mind to go easy on salty and fatty food as well since they can trigger circulation issues if not regulated.
