A Dating Fashion Tip You Should Always Keep In Mind

While browsing my emails this morning, I came across a question from Ryan, a long-time AdviceForHim.com reader. Ryan asks if I could share a simple fashion tip that he could use the next time he takes a woman out on a first date.

And I just have the perfect one that you will find quite useful to really add zing to your first date get up. Let me explain what I mean…

If you’ve been following AdviceForHim.com for a while now, you’ve probably come across my post where I emphasized the importance of proper grooming when it comes to acing a first date.

However, I discovered a fashion no-no during my extensive research into the female psychology that can easily break your chances of convincing a woman to go out with you again. And this is wearing mismatched clothes and footwear on your first date.

I know this sounds rather odd right now, but you’ll learn why as you follow along…

See, a woman is simply a visual creature who tends to make her first impressions on a guy she’s on a date with based on his looks. If your date likes what she sees, your chances of acing that date improve.

If she thinks otherwise…well, you get the idea.

During my extensive research into the female psychology, I learned that one of the biggest dating fashion no-no’s women have is guys who show up on a date looking like they didn’t even spend a decent time picking their clothes.

Besides making you look unpleasant, which is already a serious dating red flag among women, not planning your outfit carefully also gives your date the notion that you’re not a responsible guy.

And making your date feel this way is sure to make establishing an emotional connection with her extremely tricky.

Other fashion no-no’s I’ve learned that can ruin your chances of acing a date include wearing socks with sandals, having a clip-on mobile phone case strapped to your belt and wearing a tie with a short-sleeved shirt.

Now while all of this may sound a bit complicated, planning your getup for a date isn’t really that tough.

You just have to make sure that your clothes and shoes are clean, properly ironed and fit right. You also have to check that the colors don’t clash and you don’t overdo it on the accessories.

You can add a few of your own personal touches here and there, but just make sure that you won’t look gaudy in the process.
