Are You A Couch Potato?

Are You A Couch Potato?

So let’s kick things off this time with a quick question…

Do you spend more than a couple of hours catching your favorite TV shows every day? If your answer to this is yes, then I have some bad news for you.

You may be at risk of experiencing erectile dysfunction in the long run. I know this sounds a bit crazy right now, but I’m sure you’ll ease up on your TV watching habit when you check out the rest of this post.

If you’re anything like most guys, chances are you’d like to enjoy your favorite TV shows as comfortably as you can like relaxing on your favorite couch, sofa or chair perhaps. (And there’s a possibility you’re going to be munching on fatty and oily junk foods while at it as well.)

Now while sitting down per se isn’t bad at all, doing it for very long periods of time can have a negative effect on your blood flow.

If you’ve been following AdviceForHim.com for a while now, you probably already know that ideal blood flow is key when it comes to getting rock hard during sexual arousal. This is because the erectile tissues in the penis need to absorb a sufficient amount of blood to get firm.

Once these tissues absorb all the blood they need, you’re going to get rock hard.

However, if there’s something wrong with your blood flow, there are two possible things that will happen. It’s either you’ll only have a weak erection that will fizzle out quicker than you’d like to or not get hard at all.

How’s that for disappointing the next time you and your lover start to get frisky in the bedroom?

Here’s where being a couch potato gets in the picture…

As it turns out, making it a habit to sit down for a very long time daily disrupts the circulation in the pelvic region little by little. Now while this happens rather gradually, the effect builds up over time until it already blocks off blood flow in the pelvic region.

See, blood that’s directed to the erectile tissues in the penis first passes through the pelvic region before it can get to where it’s supposed to. And if the pelvic region gets blocked off…

Well, I think you already know what will happen next.

As I emphasized earlier, there’s nothing wrong with sitting down to relax, but there’s a chance that you’ll find it tricky to rise up to the occasion if you’re doing it more than you should.
