While browsing a medical journal at the local library this morning, I discovered a very interesting mistake that can easily weaken your erections in the long run. And although I don’t mean this as something offensive, you might be inadvertently making this mistake right now.

And this is loading up on too much fried foods. Sure this may sound a bit surprising right now, but you’ll definitely ease up on your consumption of your favorite fried treats when you follow along…

However, before I explain this to you in detail, let me give you a quick rundown first on what happens inside your body during sexual arousal to get you ready for lovemaking.

As soon as the brain detects that you and your lover are getting frisky in the bedroom, it fires up the endocrine glands to start producing and releasing certain mood-altering hormones that trigger significant changes in the system to prep you up for sex.

Besides spiking up the heart and breathing rate, these hormones also increase the sensitivity of the skin, especially in and around the erogenous zones like the nipples, inner thighs as well as the genitals.

And perhaps the most obvious effect that this hormonal reaction sets off is directing a more than usual amount of blood to the erectile tissues in the penis to firm it up. These hormones also make sure that it stays that way until orgasm is reached.

However, making fried foods a regular in your diet has a very negative effect on this hormonal reaction that takes place during sexual arousal. As it turns out, frequently loading up on them can clog up the channels where blood flows through like veins and arteries.

This is because fried foods can promote the accumulation of bad cholesterol, which can lead to the formation of plaque that can prevent blood from flowing to where they’re supposed to when things get hot in the bedroom.

And when this happens, it can be quite tricky for you to achieve a strong erection in the long run.

What’s even scarier is plaque build-up in the veins and arteries is considered not just as one of the biggest factors of erectile dysfunction, but also of serious health issues like atherosclerosis, heart attack and stroke.

I am not saying that you should keep clear of fried foods entirely. It’s perfectly fine to indulge in your favorite fried delicacies as long as it doesn’t become a daily habit. Moreover, keep in mind to load up on foods rich in fiber like oatmeal to neutralize bad cholesterol levels and ensure that you’ll always get rock hard on demand.
