Are You Listening To Your Date Intently?

June 20, 2014  |  Dating Advice, Success Principles

During my extensive research into the female psychology, I discovered that a lot of guys tend to make a dating mistake they don’t even know they are doing it already.

As it turns out, checking your phone too often during a date can potentially shrink your chances of igniting an emotional spark a woman has for you into something more.

Let me explain what I mean…

Unlike what a lot of guys mistakenly think, appearance is not the top factor when it comes to sealing the deal during a date. Now while looking and smelling great should be a priority if you’re planning to make a good impression on the woman you’re out with, you simply won’t pull it off if you fail to establish an emotional connection with her.

And perhaps the worst way to ruin your chances of doing just that is checking your mobile phone frequently during your date. Sure this may sound rather odd right now, but you’ll find out more when you follow along.

See, building an emotional connection with a woman you’re out on a date with is all about making her feel that she can trust you, which you can easily achieve by listening to her intently.

Keeping in mind to listen to your date attentively not only helps you know your date better, but also stimulates her brain to produce happy hormones like endorphin and serotonin that make her feel that she can easily open up her feelings and ideas to you.

This basically gives your date the feeling that she likes you, which makes establishing an emotional connection with her a bit easier.

However, this can be easily disrupted if you look at your phone every few minutes.

Although you may just be innocently checking if you received a text message, your date can take it the other way around. Besides making a woman feel that you’re not interested in what she’s saying, her brain also replaces the happy hormones with their less than happy counterparts.

And when this happens, a woman will only feel anxious and impatient, which easily signals that your date is over.

Sure this may sound a bit complicated, but it’s actually very easy to pull off. And I’ve got just the trick to help you do just that…

Now while turning off your mobile phone before your date is one thing, making a game out of discovering interesting bits and pieces about the woman you’re out with will help you become more attentive to her when she’s talking.

You will never know when she’s going to say something that will help you make your date successful so better keep your ears sharp.

(Now here’s why you should start making fiber a mainstay in your regular diet.)
