Why You Need To Masturbate More

I was browsing the new titles section at the local library the other day when I came across a urology periodical featuring a study that claimed masturbation plays a key role in keeping the male reproductive system in tiptop shape.

It featured a study conducted by the Brisbane Urological Society claiming that masturbating frequently isn’t just about pleasuring yourself. They have gathered proof that regular self-stimulation also helps maintain a man’s ability to get an erection and keep it long enough to satisfy his lover in the bedroom.

The study involved following the sexual health of thirty healthy adult men between the ages of 22 to 55 living in and around Brisbane, namely Ashgrove, Paddington, St. Lucia, Greenslopes and Toowong.

Half of the respondents admitted to masturbating at least three times a week. The other half claimed they only masturbated once a week or rarely at all.

The researchers asked the study’s participants to provide details about their sexual health for a whole year, particularly on how quick enough they can achieve a stable erection during lovemaking and if they encountered problems getting one.

And the bits of information they’ve managed to collect over the subsequent months were very surprising.

Based on the data the researchers gathered, the respondents who admitted to masturbating at least three times a week reported that they did not have any problems achieving a stable erection apart from in exceptional circumstances.

The average time they needed to get totally rock hard was 2 minutes.

On the other hand, the participants who rarely or never masturbated at all reported that although they always managed to get an erection during sexual arousal, they felt that it took them very long to get one. Their average time was about 10 minutes.

When the researchers conducted an in-depth investigation on this, they discovered that masturbation helped clear out toxins that were inclined to accumulate along the walls of the prostate gland.

These toxins basically limit the blood flow that is directed to the prostate during sexual arousal, which hindered the erectile tissues in the penis to get firm as fast as they could. Furthermore these toxins were also found to cause prostate cancer in the long run if not got rid of properly.

Now we’ve set that straight, make sure you include masturbation in your regular checklist to keep getting rock hard when you need to – and prevent getting prostate cancer while at it as well.
